Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, expressed his disappointment after his team's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace in the 34th round of the Premier League, which brought Liverpool closer to winning the league title.
Arteta told Sky Sports: "We are disappointed with the result and performance. We couldn't impose control over the game due to a lack of consistency in several aspects. This is part of football, and it cost us two important points."
He continued: "We should have performed better in many aspects of the game. Crystal Palace was very organized and played well, and they deserve credit. We need to be much better in the upcoming matches."
Arsenal's forward Leandro Trossard added: "We were not at the same level as in our previous games. We need to improve our performance significantly before the crucial matches."
