On January 13, the Moon will be in close proximity to Mars, which will be visible as a bright red star in the sky, in opposition to Earth, making it appear closer and clearer. On January 21, the Moon will pass near the star Alhena, one of the brightest stars in the constellation of Gemini. Another remarkable event occurs on January 25, when the Moon will approach the red star Antares, located in the heart of the Scorpius constellation. Antares is a star nearing the end of its life, potentially destined to explode someday.
