Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who recently parted ways with Al-Qadsiah, has decided to return to Olympique Marseille on a two-year contract. This move comes despite a more financially attractive offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq.
According to reports from French media, Aubameyang described the return to Marseille as a “choice of the heart.” The forward had previously impressed with 21 goals and 3 assists last season. He is expected to undergo a medical examination soon, with the contract running through to the summer of 2027.
