Al-Hilal continued its impressive form against Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League, commanding a 4-1 victory on Tuesday in the 16th round of the competition at "Kingdom Arena."

Al-Hilal reaffirmed its historical dominance, securing its 19th win against Al-Wehda in 23 league encounters, with just one loss and three draws. Notably, Al-Hilal scored at least two goals in 19 matches. On the other hand, Al-Wehda has endured its heaviest defeats and conceded the most goals in league history against Al-Hilal, suffering 19 losses and conceding 58 goals.

The match started explosively for Al-Hilal, as Marcos Leonardo opened the scoring in the 7th minute, capitalizing on a rebound from a Renan Lodi shot goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Owaisher parried that. Brazilian star Malcom doubled the lead just four minutes later with a brilliant finish following a superb pass from Mohamed Kanno.

In the second half, Al-Hilal maintained its dominance, with Malcom adding his second goal and the team's third in the 82nd minute with a perfectly timed header. Al-Wehda managed to reduce the deficit in the 89th minute through Craig Goodwin, but Abdullah Al-Hamdan sealed the comprehensive victory for Al-Hilal with a goal in stoppage time (91st minute).

With this win, Al-Hilal extended its lead at the top of the table, reaching 43 points, three points clear of Al-Ittihad (40 points), who are set to face Al-Shabab on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Al-Wehda remains stuck at 12 points, sitting in 17th place as their struggles in the league continue.
